Tec Tran can offer several HPU configurations to mount into small, constrained spaces.
Functional Description:
An electric-powered hydraulic pump supplies fluid under pressure to the brake system. Tec Tran can provide systems with or without the use of an accumulator. The brake control valve, which can be supplied on a one or two per truck basis, is controlled by the electronics package. The valve is controlled to output a specified pressure level, which in turn, provides the force in the caliper in order to meet a specified braking rate. All hydraulic fluid in the system is continuously filtered in order to provide reliable, long-term service.
